Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules that apply when you use Fundi Sensei. It supplements our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Prohibited content

You must not use Fundi Sensei to generate, request, or transmit content that:

• Is unlawful, infringing, or encouraging others to break the law;
• Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or violent toward any person or group, on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic, including content that sexualises minors in any way;
• Depicts, encourages, or provides instructions for child sexual abuse material: we report all such cases to the relevant authorities and to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) where applicable;
• Depicts or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
• Is designed to deceive, e.g. phishing pages, deepfakes intended to mislead, or fraudulent solicitations;
• Contains or disseminates malware, ransomware, exploit code, or instructions facilitating cybercrime;
• Infringes intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or confidentiality obligations;
• Constitutes regulated professional advice (legal, tax, financial, medical) presented as authoritative without a qualified professional’s involvement;
• Is intended to influence the political opinions of voters or the outcome of an election in a manner prohibited by law;
• Is generated to bypass, jailbreak, or test the safety filters of any AI system.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or model weights of the Service;
• Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate competing AI systems;
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service except through our published APIs and within their documented rate limits;
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse-prevention signals, or identity verification;
• Share, resell, or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission;
• Use the Service in any way that would cause us to breach the Google Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy or the Google Terms of Service.

3. Sensitive use cases

Fundi Sensei is a B2B assistant for general business use. It is not suitable for and may not be used for:

• Medical, mental-health, or veterinary advice for a specific person or animal;
• Legal advice for a specific matter, including immigration, criminal, family, or property law;
• Investment, tax, or accounting advice for a specific person or entity;
• Credit, insurance, or employment decisions about an identifiable individual;
• Emergency or life-safety situations: in an emergency, contact the relevant local authority (in Kenya, dial 999 or 112).

For any of the above, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

4. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may, at our sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law:

• Issue a warning;
• Throttle or rate-limit your access;
• Suspend or terminate your access to the Service;
• Remove or filter the offending content;
• Report the activity to law-enforcement, regulatory, or other competent authorities;
• Pursue civil remedies or refer the matter to the police where appropriate.

We will, where practicable, notify you before suspension or termination, and will respond to any written appeal within 30 days.

5. Reporting violations

If you believe content generated by Fundi Sensei, or content submitted by another user, breaches this AUP, please report it to info@volcha.co.ke. Include a description of the content, the date and time you saw it, the session identifier (if you have it), and a contact email so we can follow up.
